Maybe the words Generalist is not the right word. I wanted to say T-shaped person... but I don't like such labels. But maybe Creative Thinker is closer to what I mean.
I have no numbers, I have a gut feeling and years experience to see there…

I saw your posts about the dschool (where I teach) and discovered this community.
Sounds like a great speech topic you are working on. I gave a speech earlier this year to finalists for a prestigious college scholarship about design thinking + life - how in order to create an extraordinary life you have to embrace change and experiments - you have to do the drunken walk of the entrepreneur. You can see the speech here: http://bit.ly/2FcM4v Perhaps it will give you some ideas for your speech.
